Proudly known as "The Aerial Gateway to the U.S. Air Force Museum," Greene County Airport - Lewis A. Jackson Regional Airport (i19) is the closest IFR field to downtown Dayton, and a 15 minute drive to one of Ohio's largest tourist attraction, the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
It is also conveniently located to the Aviation Trail, a National Historical Park which commemorates the accomplishments of three of Dayton's most famous sons, poet Paul Laurence Dunbar, and Orville and Wilbur Wright. The airport has a 4500 X 75 ft runway, with NDB and GPS instrument approaches, and ramp space capable of handling most any type of general aviation aircraft. |
Be sure to visit the i19 Pilot Shop located on the field
